Liverpool’s 19-year-old left-back Owen Beck is eyeing a European loan move this summer and is attracting attention from Italy, Portugal and France.

Beck had a superb season in the academy last year and is ready to push on in his career, preferring a move to a club in Europe rather than the lower English tiers.

Several unnamed sides from Serie A,  Primeira Liga and Ligue 1 are being touted to be in the race for the exciting youngster’s services for the 2022/23 campaign.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Beck is also attracting interest from England but would prefer to be facing Europa League and Champions League teams next season.

Beck’s chances of making any dint in Jurgen Klopp’s starting XI are also currently limited, with the club stacked in his position with regular starter Andy Robertson and backup Kostas Tsimikas being more than reliable when needed

That makes this summer the perfect time for the young left-back to stretch his wings and come back to Merseyside as a more complete player in coming campaigns.

Liverpool are looking to offload a handful of academy prospects this summer, and any good loan spells will certainly see them put back in the fold of Jurgen Klopp’s setup with the German tactician always keen to utilise the team’s youth when possible.
