Some Liverpool fans drooled over forward Mohamed Salah after the club released a video of him doing what he does best.

The Egyptian scored both goals as we got the better of Watford during a 2-0 win at Anfield back in December in what Nigel Pearson’s first game in charge of the Hornets.

Salah, who is a two-time Premier League Golden Boot winner from his first two seasons with us, scored either side of half-time to maintain our unbeaten run in the Premier League, which the visitors would eventually scupper in the return game two months later.

Is Mohamed Salah underappreciated by fans of other clubs?

It was not a pretty win by any means. But it was a game where the Egypt international shone when it mattered most and got us over the line. With the season currently postponed, we need just six more points to secure our first league title in 30 years.

As a result, and unsurprisingly, supporters were delighted with Salah and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he was “absolutely amazing”, while another described him as a “king” after the song that the Kop faithful have for him.
