Liverpool are currently in desperate need for some more quality and depth in the midfield positions, with players like Jude Bellingham, Frenkie De Jong and Declan Rice all linked with a move to Anfield.
However, not many seem to be talking about the inevitable outgoings of the likes of Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and James Milner- as well as the loan expiry of Arthur Melo.
According to Calciomercato, Italian champions AC Milan will look to sign two of those players on a free transfer.
The reports suggest that both Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be on their way to the San Siro, in the same move that Divock Origi made to join the Italian giants at the end of last season.
Both players have struggled to make the impact that many expected when they arrived at the club.
Oxlade-Chamberlain joined the Reds in 2017 from Arsenal for around £30million and had a solid start to his career on Merseyside but a horror injury at the end of his debut season has left him struggling for form ever since.
Even bigger things were expected from Naby Keita, after his £50million move from RB Leipzig in 2018.
Again, Keita started brightly but a long list of injuries again hampered his spell at Liverpool.
Now both players look set to leave the club upon the expiry of their contracts in June, and AC Milan could end up being their destination.
