Arsenal have launched a €40million bid for rumoured Liverpool target and Villarreal winger Jeremy Pino, who is one of Europe’s hottest prospects.

According to a report in Radio Villarreal, Liverpool may be forced to act quickly if they want to sign the 19-year-old winger before Arsenal.

However, Liverpool would want to avoid getting into a bidding war for Pino and see Villarreal’s €50million valuation as a steep price to pay.

Nevertheless, after letting talisman Sadio Mane, Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino leave the club this summer there is room for an extra forward in Klopp’s squad.

Pino appeared 40 times for the Yellow Submarines last season, scoring 7 goals and assisting four along the away.

Whether Liverpool will challenge Arsenal for the starlets signature is up in the air, Jurgen Klopp stated he was happy with his current squad heading into the new campaign.

And he has reason to be with his frontline, which consists of Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah; three of football’s best talents.

The 19-year-old is contracted at the La Liga club until 2027, although, it’s believed that a big bid would be enough to lure the talent away from Spain; this one seems like Arsenal’s to lose.
