Clearly frustrated with the Internationals this week the boss knows too well that there are problems with the team and now he has to earn his money by sorting it.
Benitez said: ‘After a defeat like Chelsea we cannot prepare the players properly for the next game. We have some time before Saturday but its not the ideal situation.’
He added: ‘We were playing well up until that game (the defeat by Chelsea). Okay, we were drawing many games but we were not losing and the team was strong.’
Liverpool find themselves in lowly 13th position in the Premiership with 2 games in hand.
