Liverpool’s European dream wasn’t meant to be this season as the Reds crashed out of the Champions League to the hands of Atletico Madrid, yet the loss could have been prevented.
Klopp on Adrian: “He’s a man, he knows that, he didn’t want to do that. He saved us in so many moments, and the boys know that. This was not the moment when we lost the game, but it had big impact. The public will judge you, but he is a grown man and he will deal with that.”#LFC

Injury to Alisson Becker resulted in Adrian stepping up in-between the sticks for Liverpool last night, and the Spanish keeper had a night to forget as the former West Ham shot-stopper was at fault for Atletico’s opening two goals in extra-time, which saw Jurgen Klopp’s side crash out of the Champions League.
Who will win the Premier League next season?
Liverpool
Manchester City
Although the German manager refused to hang Adrian out to dry after his poor performance, plenty of Liverpool fans on social media took aim at the Spanish keeper for his showing against Atletico which played a large part in the Reds being knocked out of Europe.
Here’s what lots of Liverpool supporters had to say on Twitter about Adrian…
Hopefully that’s the last we see of Adrian and bye bye in the summer.

Let’s not butter this up. Adrian is a poor keeper, I mean come on he wasn’t even getting a game at West Ham when Liverpool come knocking he must of thought all his birthday’s come at once. Poor against Chelsea & cost u the game last night. Liverpool need a better reserve GK.

The 3-2 loss last night was the first time Liverpool have lost a European game at Anfield since October 2014.
