Loads of Liverpool fans have been responding to reports by the Liverpool Echo that the Reds are not in discussions to renew Adam Lallana’s contract.
The 31-year-old’s current deal is set to expire in the summer and has been linked with a move to Leicester City, a transfer which would see him reunited with former boss Brendan Rodgers who brought him to Anfield.
Lallana, who earns £110,000-a-week with us, has just one goal in 21 appearances in all competitions this season and has struggled to cement a first-team place in Jurgen Klopp’s side. If the reports are true, he will leave us after six seasons, with 22 goals and 22 assists in 178 outings for the club across all competitions.
Is it the right decision to let Adam Lallana leave?
Yes
No
With this in mind, supporters agreed that it was the best option for both parties that Lallana leaves this summer and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he doesn’t blame him for wanting to leave and play regularly, where another said that she will always love the 34-cap England international.
Right decision.

Never understood his role or value with the club. Lots of paychecks and little contribution.

Can’t blame him for wanting first team. He has the talent. Maybe just not Liverpool. Either way, all the best to him. ❤️ https://t.co/m16BulGlij
