Loads of Liverpool fans respected defender Andy Robertson after his sincere assessment of his side’s 2-0 defeat to Chelsea on Tuesday night.
The Reds fell to their third defeat in four games as they crashed out of the FA Cup in the fifth round at Stamford Bridge. Goals from Willian and Ross Barkley ensured that it was the hosts that advanced to the next stage of the domestic cup competition.
After what an all-round poor performance from Jurgen Klopp’s side. Robertson took to Twitter (via @andrewrobertso5) said that his team’s performances have not been enough over the past few games and will look to repay the support of the Kop faithful.
Liverpool are currently just four wins away from securing their first Premier League title in 30 years and face a tough test in the Champions League last-16 second leg against Atletico Madrid as they attempt to overturn a one-goal deficit.
Will Liverpool get back to winning ways against Bournemouth?
Acknowledging the Scotsman’s words, supporters appreciated his honest view and made their feelings clear about him on social media. One fan told Robertson to keep his chin up, while another respected him for posting after the defeat.
Keep going Andy lad!
Let’s put it right on Saturday back home where we belong 🙏🏻

Robbo, You will never walk alone. We are with you when you win, and with you when you lose. Form is temporary, class is permanent. Bournemouth now, one game at a time.
