Jude Bellingham and his representatives have told Real Madrid that Liverpool are leading the race to sign the 19-year-old, according to reports from reliable journalist Christian Falk.
The England international has become the hottest prospect in the game at the minute, with the likes of Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester City and PSG all interested in the star.
However, Christian Falk remains adamant that the midfielder is most likely to join Liverpool following a duo of tweets.
The journalist tweeted yesterday saying: “TRUE, Liverpool are favourites to sign Jude Bellingham (19) from Borussia Dortmund next summer. Talks are more advanced than with Real Madrid. The family of Bellingham prefers a move to Liverpool.”

Then earlier today, Falk tweeted: “TRUE, the management of Jude Bellingham have informed Real Madrid that Liverpool are leading the race for a transfer of Bellingham this summer.”

This is certainly exciting news for all Liverpool fans, with the prospect of signing the best teenager in the world being something many thought wasn’t possible with the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid sniffing around.
However, there is still a long way before anything concrete will be announced in terms of any official statements, but all reports are suggesting that Bellingham is leaning towards Liverpool.
As a Liverpool fan, I am certainly beginning to believe it may be possible and we could potentially have the next Steven Gerrard on our hands.
