It is evident to football fans all over the world that Liverpool are far from their best at the moment with the Reds recently facing their sixth-straight home defeat in the Premier League yesterday against Fulham.
With Liverpool facing a real battle for a top-four spot at the end of the season, the mountain that the Reds will have to climb to reach the stop seems to be growing taller each game weak as the club continue to produce sub-par results and performances.
One former Reds striker, however, has offered his support for the club during their rough patch. Daniel Sturridge sent out a tweet last night stating that the greatest players and managers always figure out the solution to the issues on the pitch, and highlighted that the international break in March will ‘reset the engine’ for the Reds for the remainder of the season…
Great players and managers always figure out the solution to the problems and I have no doubt @LFC will be back to the team we know and love.Played some of the best football in Europe the past 4/5 years so this bad patch feels different. Int break will reset the engine trust me🙌🏾

Sturridge played a big part for the club during his tenure on Merseyside and watched the club grown into the champions they are today with him being at the club during the transition from Brendan Rodgers to Jurgen Klopp – so he will know the ability and quality that the team and manager possess.
His words of encouragement have no doubt softened the blow of the recent performances and results and should bring positive thoughts and reinforcement for the squad to go on and turn the season around to try and secure a spot in next season’s Champions League.
I agree with him that the international break will prove pivotal for Klopp and his players to try and reset and find the form, fight, intensity, and desire that we have become accustomed to over the last 4/5 years.
