Since joining Liverpool in 2017, Mohamed Salah has become one of the best players in the world and has helped the Reds to return to their title-winning ways with Champions League and Premier League success over the past two seasons.

The Egyptian winger caused quite the stir a few weeks ago, however, after his interview with Spanish publication AS where he failed to rule out a move to Spanish giants Barcelona or Real Madrid – leading to plenty of speculation over his future and whether he may leave the club in the summer.

Despite the rumour and the chatter over Salah’s future, fellow teammate and Reds midfielder Fabinho has offered his thoughts and opinion on the situation, playing down the idea of a future move for the winger.

Is Mohamed Salah underappreciated by fans of other clubs?

No

In a recent interview with Sky Sports, the £54 million rated midfielder come makeshift centre-back said that ‘demanding’ Mo Salah is happy at the club and says that big players are always linked with transfers away but insists that the Egyptian is loving life on Merseyside and that himself and the rest of the squad aren’t bothered by the speculation or the stories surrounding Salah’s future.

According to Fabinho, Salah is very demanding of himself, and that he wants to always be at his best to help the team going forward – so in my opinion Liverpool fans, we shouldn’t be too worried about the rumours flying around.

The interview comes ahead of Liverpool’s crunch game against Manchester United on Sunday, with the Reds in need of a big performance and three points over the Red Devils to retain their top spot in the Premier League.
