17-year-old Liverpool youngster Stefan Bajcetic has been the stand-out star for the Merseyside club during pre-season, with his cool, calm and collected performances gaining plaudits online.
Bajcetic switched to Anfield from Celta Vigo in 2021 and hasn’t looked back since, coming of age during the club’s pre-season tour of Thailand, Singapore and Austria.
It remains to be seen if the youngster will be given more first-team opportunities in the upcoming campaign by Jurgen Klopp, nevertheless, he’s undoubtedly proven he has what it takes to make his mark.
The starlet spoke to Liverpool’s official club website about his move to Liverpool and how his life has changed since making the move to Merseyside from Spain.

“It’s paid off, because I learned a lot as well in the Academy,” Bajcetic stated in his first interview since joining the Reds.
“I think this is the best club for me to develop and I’m happy – I’ve always been happy.”
The youngster spoke about the difficulties of leaving home at a young age but how taking the risk has seemed to pay off for him.
“It was difficult to leave all my friends, my family and the place I was living for all my life.”
“But I love the football here and that’s my dream.”
The 17-year-old went on to say how easy it has been to settle into the first-team squad and how everyone has treated him well during the pre-season tour.
“Everyone has been good with me. Luckily, I can speak Spanish as well, so I can speak with everyone really.”
“Obviously [my family and friends] are very happy and buzzing. They always try to watch the games and if there’s something on social media, they try to look at it. I’m very happy.”
