Liverpool have struggled for results at times this season and even spent four Premier League games without scoring a goal which isn’t something you would have expected given the way this side has played over recent years.

It hasn’t been the season most Reds fans would have expected with the club currently sat in sixth place in the Premier League table – with plenty of the Liverpool squad not on form this season and far from the quality they have shown during Jurgen Klopp’s tenure.

One of those players that has dropped off massively recently is Brazilian forward Roberto Firmino, who has been the club’s go-to No.9 since joining the Reds and offering massively in regards to what he can bring to the side other than just goals. Firmino isn’t known for being the goalscorer in our front three and rather has been the provider – but this hasn’t always warranted his poor form and ability in front of goal, something that The Athletic’s James Pearce feels should now lead to the club going on the lookout for a new striker whether that means replacing the Brazilian or just rotating him out…

It feels as though in regards to Pearce’s thought, Firmino’s time at the club is all but up and his poor form and lack of goals has clearly affected and hampered Liverpoool’s attacking opportunities at times this season and I can understand why people may feel like that.

Will Mane, Salah or Firmino leave Liverpool this summer?

Yes

Yes

No

No

There have been times during this season where Firmino has had some great opportunities to get himself on the score sheet and he has failed to convert – which has cost Liverpool in regard to points at times and has contributed to our place in the table at the moment.

The £64.8 million rated forward has been a massive servant to the club since joining in 2015, but maybe it is time for a change.

What do you think Liverpool fans, is Firmino’s time up at Anfield? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section down below…
