There is no doubt the impact and influence that Liverpool’s front three of Sadio Mané, Roberto Firmino, and Mo Salah have had on the club and the Premier League in general over the past few seasons and have no doubt cemented themselves as one of the best attacks in world football.

Sadly though, there comes a time in every team’s history where they start to see their beloved team break apart, with players leaving and taking on challenges elsewhere – that or the formula simply doesn’t work anymore and it is time for certain members of the squad to move on to pastures new.

This is apparently the case according to former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher on Monday Night Football last night where he analysed Liverpool’s front three – stating that it may be the end of the road for the trio after reaching that three-year itch…

I can understand why Carragher feels this is the case as to why we may not be seeing our beloved front three clicking the way they have in previous seasons and would make sense as to why they aren’t performing to the level usual expected of them and likely that they expect from themselves.

Will Mane, Salah or Firmino leave Liverpool this summer?

No

No

However, I don’t completely agree that the three have reached their best in their fourth year together – more so, and I hate to say it, that I agree with Gary Neville that they have been playing at 100mph for the past three seasons playing almost every game and I think they’re in need of a rest, a big one at that.

If the front three were to be broken up and the time has come for our beloved trio to play their final farewell, it is likely that Carragher would see Firmiino be the player to leave given his previous omission that new boy Diogo Jota should start ahead of him in the club’s front three this season.
