Liverpool have been facing a real dip in form as of late with some poor results in the Premier League and other teams have had a real treat with Jurgen Klopp’s side dropping points over their last few games.

This has left the club in an interesting position – yes they are still top of the Premier League but with second-place Manchester United facing Burnley on the 12th January, a win would take them three points above us ahead of our fixture against them on the 17th January, which will be a must-win game if the club intends on retaining their Premier League title.

Our dip in form has even called upon the footballing experts in the country to voice their thoughts and opinions on it, with TalkSPORT host Jason Cundy saying that Liverpool are in a lot of trouble at the moment and that teams will sense that they are there for the taking…

Do I agree that Liverpool are experiencing a bit of a rough patch at the moment? No doubt about it, it has been a tough few games for the club recently and the form has more than dipped off.

I also agree that teams can clearly sense that and are taking their opportunity to get a few points off of us in games that in previous seasons with would have put to bed rather quickly – whereas this time around many teams are sitting back and parking the bus, with the hopes of either getting a point or nicking a winner either late or early on, much like Southampton did last night.

That has often been the case the past few weeks, we have seen teams sit back and defend, only to take the chance on occasion on the counter against a weakened defence – so in a way, our problems are all over the pith and not just in one area.

What do you think Liverpool fans, do you agree with Jason Cundy’s assessment? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section down below…
