Liverpool look set to complete the signing of Robbie Keane from Tottenham Hotspur within the next 24 hours.
The Rep of Ireland international captain is reported to have completed his medical at Melwood this morning and is now on the verge of signing for the club he supported as a boy, for a transfer fee believed to be in the region of £18million.
The 28yr old striker has spent five seasons at White Hart Lane and scored 107 goals, he is also the record international goal-scorer for the Rep of Ireland with 33 goals in 81 appearances.
