According to Daily Mail journalist Dominic King, Liverpool seemingly have no fitness issues to worry about ahead of the crunch Merseyside derby clash on Sunday – prompting some Reds supporters to react in response.

Indeed, as per this latest update, there was an inter-squad game at Anfield last weekend involving stars Mohamed Salah and Andrew Robertson after they had previously sat out a friendly win against Blackburn Rovers.

King states that this measure was simply a precaution, though, and both players look fit and ready to potentially start against Everton – a match where Liverpool could secure the title depending on other results.

If Man City lose to Arsenal on Wednesday, Jurgen Klopp’s men will be given the chance to grab their first Premier League crown in 30 years with victory over the Toffees.

Flocking to this injury news, some supporters are optimistic – claiming that a fully fit squad is ‘like a new signing‘ and ‘good news‘.
