Liverpool and Chelsea to battle for Wolves midfielder

|

It seems Chelsea are about to keep up the trend of just going for players because they’re linked with a move to another big club in the country.

I’m starting to think that Chelsea don’t have their own scouting network and don’t even have their own shortlist of players, they just watch Sky Sports News and prepare to stop any signings at rival clubs.

After attempting to steal moves for the likes of Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo and stealing the likes of Mykhailo Mudryk from Arsenal and Joao Felix from Manchester United, the Blues are now looking to hijack Liverpool’s deal to sign Matheus Nunes from Wolves in the summer.

It has been reported in recent weeks that it’s almost nailed on that Nunes will become a Liverpool player in the summer after negotiations took place ahead of his move to the Midlands last year.

The 24-year-old has been on Jurgen Klopp’s radar for quite a while now, but it seems his impressive substitute cameos against the Reds have caught the eye of the German.

Any deal for the Portuguese midfielder would likely cost around £50million, which isn’t expected to be an issue for either club as they both are reportedly set to splash the cash in the summer to rebuild their struggling midfields.
