Hobbs Completes Leicester Move

Jack Hobbs wont be returning to Liverpool this summer as Leicester have confirmed that the defender has signed for them on a permanent basis, or will do in the summer. Hobbs has said that he’s really enjoyed his loan and was only to happy to sign a permanent contact, as he explained to the official Leicester website:

‘I have thoroughly enjoyed my season with the club and I am absolutely delighted to make the move permanent.

‘This is a massive club and I believe we can go all the way to the Premier League. That’s one of the reasons why I have committed to signing a four-year deal.

‘I couldn’t be happier here. Leicester have shown great faith in me and instilled me with great confidence. I really am over the moon.’

The defender, who has signed a four year contract for an undisclosed fee, helped Leicester secure the League One title during his season long loan deal and the 20 year old will now be hoping to play a major role in their Championship season next time round.

Best of luck to Hobbs, unfortunately he couldn’t ever quite meet the potential that it was believed that he had although he was also a little unlucky as well not to have been given more of a chance by the Reds.
