Liverpool have identified Bayern Munich winger Serge Gnabry as a potential target this summer and they could be helped by Sadio Mane’s move to the German giants last week.
According to The Mirror, Liverpool are on the lookout for a potential Mohamed Salah replacement, with contract negotiations stalling in recent months.
Gnabry joins a host of names to be linked to the Merseyside club in recent weeks; Timo Werner, Marco Asensio and Ousmane Dembele have all been touted to join the club this summer.
Gnabry would be able to fill the void left by Sadio Mane this summer and also provide Jurgen Klopp with some security should Salah leave the club after the 2022/23 season.
Salihamidžić on Gnabry situation: "We really want to keep him. I hope that he chooses Bayern. If a player doesn't want to decide for the club, then we can find a solution that makes everyone happy", tells SkyDe. 🔴 #FCBayern

Bayern Munich are facing difficulties in tying Gnabry down to a new contract at the Allianz Arena and this leaves the door open for Liverpool to make a move for the 26-year-old.
Gnabry is certainly the type of player Liverpool would make a move for and under Jurgen Klopp, the German international’s ceiling is almost unlimited.
The winger made 45 appearances for Bayern last season, scoring 17 and assisting 10 times, a solid return in a Bundesliga-winning campaign.
