Our weekly update looking at Liverpool’s current injuries and those of all the other top flight clubs…

Liverpool face Chelsea on Saturday and key strikers Christian Benteke (knee) and Diego Costa (ribs) are both expected to be available despite injuries in recent games.

For Reds boss J├╝rgen Klopp there are still a host of long-term absentees who definitely won’t be featuring, including Danny Ings, Joe Gomez and Jon Flanagan (all knee).

Veteran defender Kolo Toure suffered a hamstring strain in midweek so joins captain Jordan Henderson (foot) and youngster Jordan Rossiter (hamstring) in the ‘out for several weeks’ category.

Daniel Sturridge‘s ongoing injury problems are being monitored on a daily basis and hopefully he will be available for the next league game at home to Crystal Palace.
