Which players are struggling to be fit for Crystal Palace vs. Liverpool?…
Liverpool vice-captain James Milner is a doubt for Saturday’s trip to Selhurst Park due to a virus.
Spanish left-back Alberto Moreno, who played the full 90 minutes of the 2-1 EFL Cup win over Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday night, is on standby to take his place.
Elsewhere, manager Jürgen Klopp has no major concerns with just a few minor knocks picked up in midweek reported.
Amongst them is striker Divock Origi who played 68 minutes of the Anfield victory before cramp forced him from the field.
Teenagers Joe Gomez (calf) and Sheyi Ojo (back) continue to build up their fitness after lengthy layoffs but won’t be considered for selection for the time being despite returning to training.
Selection wise, Klopp could change the whole line-up again and revert back to the starting eleven who beat West Bromwich Albion in the club’s last Premier League outing.
Arguably most likely to retain his place from the team that beat Spurs is Georginio Wijnaldum after the Dutchman proved he had overcome a hip problem picked up on international duty.
The hosts will give late fitness tests to defender Scott Dann (hamstring) and midfielder Jason Puncheon (calf).
Definitely missing are Loic Remy (thigh), Papa Souare (broken leg) and former Liverpool striker and current Eagles frontman Christian Benteke‘s younger brother Jonathan (knee).
