Today’s rumour, and with the transfer window getting closer they’ll increase, sees Liverpool interested in Scott Parker. This is doing the rounds in several tabloids but given where it originated from, do I need to say, it’s unlikely that there’s much truth to it at all!
Fact or fiction, rumour has it that Rafa will offer £6m for the West Ham star in January with some going as far as saying, and it’ll not surprise anyone to see his name thrown into the mixer, that he’ll be an ideal replacement for Javier Mascherano who “will leave” the Reds next summer.
Parker is believed to be unsettled at West Ham with it rumoured that he’ll seek a January exit, with this more likely if West Ham aren’t rescued by their own takeover. As always though, before anything else, the main thing we have to think about is where will this money come from for the England international, or any other player?
