With minds still focused on the Champions League semi-final tie with AS Roma, could Stoke City follow West Bromwich Albion in taking points from the Merseysiders?

Here’s what caught our eye:

• Liverpool and Stoke City have contested 153 competitive matches during their respective histories with Liverpool leading overall courtesy of 77 wins to 36 defeats and 40 draws (source: 11v11.com).
• Liverpool have won eight of the past 10 Premier League meetings (L2), including by a score of 3-0 at Stoke in November.
• That victory is one of five in a row in the league for the Reds, with a combined 14 goals scored and just three conceded.
