With Liverpool leading the Premier League, as we head into the New Year, there’s no doubting that Jurgen Klopp and his side have made a great start to the season.

Leading the pack is a fine achievement but reaching this point of the Premier League unbeaten shows just what a fine side Klopp has assembled.

However, whilst the majority of the first team squad are probably more than happy with their lot, one talented youngster would probably have hoped to have enjoyed more first-team football than he has done.

When Dominic Solanke opted to leave Chelsea to join Liverpool, he did so with the belief that he’d get the chance to appear in the starting eleven more often.

But, with Mane, Salah, Firmino and Sturridge leading the way, that hasn’t been the case.

Therefore, with the January transfer window set to open, in a matter of hours, it probably comes as no surprise to hear that 21-year-old Solanke is being linked with a loan move.

According to the

Daily Mail, the youngster is set for a return to London with Crystal Palace being stated, by our referenced source, as the destination with Solanke having undertaken a medical.

Here at Vital Liverpool, we hope that the move proves productive for all the parties concerned and that Solanke gets the opportunity to play regularly and also hit the net on a regular basis as we all know he is quite capable of.
