Which players are likely to be unavailable when Liverpool take on Brighton & Hove Albion?…

Liverpool are set to be handed a timely boost for their final Premier League game of the season on Sunday by the return of Adam Lallana.

The midfielder, who has not played since the end of March because of a hamstring injury, has been in full training for the past week and is therefore likely to feature in some capacity against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Sadly the same cannot be said for Emre Can whose hopes of recovering from a back injury in time for the Champions League final on May 26 appear increasingly forlorn.

For the Brighton game, there is also a degree of doubt over the availability of Sadio Mané after the Senegal international picked up a knock during last weekend’s 1-0 defeat at Chelsea.

Definitely out of both games are Joe Gomez, who underwent ankle surgery earlier this week, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (knee) and Joël Matip (thigh).

With a point still required to confirm a top-four finish, and a two-week gap until their date with Real Madrid, Kop boss Jürgen Klopp is expected to name a full strength line-up, including Mané.

Brighton manager Chris Hughton has no fresh injury concerns for the trip to Anfield, meaning long-term absentee Steve Sidwell (back) is the only noteworthy player missing.

Neither side has anyone ruled out through suspension.

Possible Liverpool X1: Karius, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Lovren, Robertson, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Milner, Mané, Salah, Firmino.
