Which players are likely to be unavailable when Liverpool take on Newcastle United?…
Kop boss Jürgen Klopp will need to check on the availability of Georginio Wijnaldum, Ben Woodburn and Danny Ings ahead of the hosting of Newcastle United on Saturday after the trio all succumbed to illness and missed training during the week.
Right-back Nathaniel Clyne came through 90 minutes for the U23s on Sunday but is unlikely to usurp the combination of Trent Alexaner-Arnold and Joe Gomez just yet, the duo having effectively job-shared Clyne’s role during his seven-month absence with a back injury.
Selection wise, club captain Jordan Henderson could return to the starting X1 after being confined to the bench throughout last weekend’s 4-1 win over West Ham United, while others pushing for inclusion include Alberto Moreno and Adam Lallana.

Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez has concerns over striker Dwight Gayle (hamstring) and winger Matt Richie (knock).
Definitely missing are former Reds midfielder Jonjo Shelvey (knee), on-loan striker Islam Slimani (thigh) and defender Jesús Gámez (ankle).
Neither side has anyone ruled out through suspension but Liverpool midfielder Emre Can is just one booking away from reaching 10 for the campaign and triggering a two-match ban.
