The line-ups are in ahead of the Premier League fixture between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool at White Hart Lane…
New boss Jürgen Klopp has named his first Liverpool line-up and it features two changes from predecessor Brendan Rodgers‘ last game at the helm.
The big news is the absence of striker Daniel Sturridge, which hands Divock Origi a first Premier League start.
Sturridge’s unexplained late withdrawal is yet another blow to Klopp after he lost both Danny Ings and Joe Gomez to season-ending knee injuries earlier in the week.
The German was already without Christian Benteke, Roberto Firmino, Jordan Henderson and Jon Flanagan.
Youngsters Jerome Sinclair, Connor Randall and Joao Carlos Teixeira are amongst the substitutes.
The hosts also have a number of notable players missing and consequently name Dele Alli and Mousa Dembele in an unfamiliar looking midfield. Elsewhere, left-back Danny Rose returns from a hand injury.
At the time of writing, 52% of Vital Liverpool users who voted in our online poll think Klopp will start with a win. 40% predict a defeat and the remaining 8% a draw.
The game is scheduled for a 12.45pm BST kick-off and will be broadcast live in the UK by BT Sport.
