After the loss, in Belgrade, in a Champions League group fixture, against Red Star Belgrade, in midweek, questions were asked by the media as to whether Liverpool had gone off the boil.

There’s no doubting that the performance wasn’t one we expected with even Jurgen Klopp suggesting the team had lost its mojo.

But, today, at noon, Liverpool have the perfect chance to dispel any fears that they’re having a wobble when they welcome struggling Fulham to Anfield for a Premier League fixture.

Fulham, who regained their Premier League status by winning the Championship Play-Off Final, against Aston Villa, back in May, have struggled to make an impact and sit at the foot of the Premier League table with just one win, despite the West London club spending in excess of £100 million strengthening their squad.

The Cottagers arrive at Anfield having conceded the most goals in the Premier League and with Slavisa Jokanovic struggling to name a settled side.

On paper, this is a fixture that Liverpool should win convincingly, but Fulham should not be taken for granted as this game of ours has the ability to spring the unexpected on you.

With the kick-off looming large on the horizon and with the crowd starting to file into the stadium, we are now able to bring you the team-sheets to mull over.
