Liverpool’s season so far has been far from perfect with the club currently sat in sixth place in the Premier League table after a poor run of form, but recent performances have started to pick up for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Not only that, but the club is reportedly happy to let one of the big three in Sadio Maané, Roberto Firmino, and Mohamed Salah to make room in regards to a transfer fee and in the club’s wage bill. It is a big call from the media outlet over rumours that have been spanning more than a season now after the striker featured against the Reds for RB Salzburg.

This season Haaland has enjoyed an incredible run of form as he has done throughout most of his career soo far with him managing 31 goals in 30 appearances in all competitions so far this season including 19 in the Bundesliga and 10 in the Champions League.

With a €75 million release clause in his contract according to his agent Mino Raiola, via Sport Witness, this is set to be triggered in the second year of his contract and Mundo Deportivo says that that second year is currently in motion.

Whether this is true or not is remains to be seen, as the summer window is still a few months away and a lot could develop between now and then, but one thing is for sure – Haaland would be an incredible signing for the club.
