Liverpool signed Spanish midfielder Luis Alberto back in 2013, however, Alberto failed to make an impression at Anfield and only made 12 appearances for the Reds.
After enjoying a fruitful time in Serie A with Lazio, Alberto now looks set to make the switch back to Spain and Liverpool will profit from the move.
Sevilla are looking at Alberto as a midfield option before the transfer window shuts; any such move would result in Liverpool gaining a 30% fee from the sale.
Reports suggest Lazio are holding out for a fee of 22-23 million euros (£19.4million) for the midfielder.

Alberto’s time at Lazio has been far more successful than his time on Merseyside; the 29-year-old won a Coppa Italia and two Italian Super Cups, as well as making 200 appearances for the club.
During the last Serie A campaign, Alberto scored 5 goals and assisted his Lazio teammates 11 times, only further raising his price tag.
Sevilla yesterday announced the signing of Isco on a free transfer so it remains to be seen whether they will still pursue Alberto, nevertheless, the Reds will profit if they choose to do so.
