Newly-promoted Premier League side Norwich City are close to tying up a deal for Reds defender Andre Wisdom…
Liverpool youngster Andre Wisdom looks set for a third successive season-long loan move away from Anfield, according to Sky Sports.
The broadcaster, amongst notable others, claims the 22-year-old, who can operate at both centre-back and right-back, will complete a move to Norwich City imminently, netting the Merseysiders a £1.25m loan fee in the process.
Wisdom had initially looked set to feature for the Reds during the upcoming season, after the departures of Glen Johnson, Javier Manquillo and Sebastian Coates, but the impressive pre-season form of new defensive acquisitions Nathaniel Clyne and Joe Gomez appears to have prompted a rethink.
The England U21 international made 26 appearances for West Bromwich Albion last term and 38 at Derby County in 2013-14.
For Liverpool, Wisdom has made 22 first team appearances since scoring on his debut against Young Boys Bern in September 2012.
The player’s latest temporary switch away from L4 comes just two months after he signed a new four-year contract.
None of the reports mention anything about future agreements relating to the possibility of turning the loan into a permanent transfer etc.
