James Balagizi is a name you may not have heard of, but the teenage Liverpool loanee has made a fantastic start to his professional career at Crawley Town.

Balagizi left Merseyside on loan this summer for the chance at more first-team football; a decision that seems to be paying off so far.

The 18-year-old scored his first ever senior goals last night against Northampton Town, netting a brace against the League Two outfit.

The youngster plays under his former England youth coach Kevin Betsy who has decided to utilise Balagizi in a move forward thinking role to what he had been playing at Liverpool.

The teenager scored on either side of halftime, proving he has more than enough ability to mix it in one of England’s toughest leagues.

However, Balagizi’s goals weren’t enough to give Crawley Town the win on the evening, with the club falling to a 3-2 defeat.

Balagizi will be hoping that a fruitful season in League Two will do the trick to earn him a spot in Jurgen Klopp’s squad next season, or at the very least a loan move to a club playing at a higher level.
