Man City star says Liverpool target will be ‘The best midfielder in the world’

Manchester City star, Phil Foden, was full of praise for Liverpool’s top transfer target Jude Bellingham following England’s 3-0 victory against Senegal in the World Cup last 16.

The 19-year-old put in yet another stunning performance for England as they progressed into the quarter finals of the World Cup, where they will face France.

Bellingham not only created the assist for Jordan Henderson’s winner in the first half, but his work rate and quality on the ball was absolutely world class.

The teenager finished the game with a 91% pass completion rate and only being dispossessed once in the entire game, crazy numbers for someone so young.

The world-class display didn’t go unnoticed by Manchester City’s Phil Foden who notched two assists in the win.

Speaking on ITV’s coverage of the match, the City man claimed: “I don’t want to big him up too much as he’s still young, but he’s one of the most gifted players I’ve ever seen.”

“I don’t see a weakness in his game. I think he’s got everything and he will become the best midfielder in the world for sure.”

High praise from his England teammate, as Bellingham’s value continues to rise after every game at the minute and Reds fans will be praying that the owners can get this deal over the line sooner rather than later.
