According to a report from the Daily Mirror, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp could be ready to sell Xherdan Shaqiri this summer for £25 million to make way for youngster Rhian Brewster – with fans since flocking to slam the update on Twitter.
Shaqiri, who has played just six Premier League games in a bit-part role for us this season, could be on the way out so 20-year-old Brewster can have easier access to first team chances.
The Swiss international, whilst barely playing this campaign, has accumulated a handful of fine moments in Red since his arrival at Anfield in 2018 – scoring two late goals to beat rivals Man United and putting in an energetic display during our 4-0 comeback against Barcelona in the Champions League.
Should Liverpool sell Shaqiri in the summer?
However, as per this report, it looks like we may see the last of Shaqiri this season and our fans aren’t too happy about it – with many of them going on to slam the proposed ‘mistake‘.

Harsh on Shaqiri. I know injuries are an issue but he’s been quality when he has played.

Hoping this is false though
Sturridge, lallana, Ox were injured for longer periods and he didnt just sell them off like that…brewster or no brewster…shaq is a quality asset to the team and should be given a chance

Klopp gonna swap a player who can play in 2/3 positions with someone who can only play in 1 and not even the same ones. Very unklopp like
