Mo Salah contributed with an assist as Egypt beat Belgium

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah’s season started very quietly. However, with game time, he has found his feet and has been creating goals and scoring them. He is currently the highest goal scorer in the UEFA Champions League.

Salah has taken this goal form into the World Cup warm-up friendlies, where Egypt played against Belgium. Egypt has not qualified for the World Cup but is helping other teams reach fitness and consistency by participating in warm-up watches.

The two sides met in Kuwait on Friday ahead of Belgium’s World Cup campaign. Salah played 88 minutes at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium. He put in a great through ball that set up Mahmoud Ahmed Ibrahim Hassan (Trezeguet) to give the Egyptians a 2-0 lead early in the second half.

This game will certainly be an eye-opener for Belgium’s golden generation, who are expected to go far in the tournament.
