Much of the transfer talk over recent weeks has surrounded players joining the club, with the likes of Dayot Upamecano, Milan Skriniar, Eder Militao, and Ibrahima Konaté all linked with a move to the club in January.

There haven’t been many players linked with a move away, with only veteran midfielder Gini Wijnaldum linked with a possible move to Barcelona after the lack of discussions over his contract renewal, with the Dutchman’s deal running out at the end of this season.

Most recently, Belgium striker Divock Origi has been linked with a move away from the club, with fellow Premier League club reportedly interested in the £14.4 million rated forward as cover for the injured Raul Jimenez.

Since joining the club in 2014, Origi has had some great moments in a Liverpool shirt, with his efforts in the 2018/19 Champions League run helping the club to their seventh trophy in the competition.

Should Liverpool keep Origi?

The Belgium has been offered chances as of late to rescue his career at the club but has failed to really make an impression, with his two recent starts against Atalanta and FC Midtjylland drawing a blank and the Reds failing to win either of the games.

There is no doubt the contribution that Origi has made to Liverpool’s recent history but I think now is a great time for him to call it quits on his Liverpool career and try to forge himself elsewhere, with the now 25-year-old soon to hit his twilight years soon and I can’t see him making our starting XI anytime soon.

If he was to make a move to Wolves then I hope he gets himself some important game time and rescues his career – with him holding a strong place in some of the big goals he has produced for the Reds.
