Pepe Reina says he’s very happy at Liverpool and is looking forward to a long term Anfield stay.
‘Next year we’ll start talking about another deal,’ said Reina.
‘I am so settled. I recharged my batteries on holiday in Majorca and Ibiza with my wife after we got married on May 19.
‘We are both happy in Liverpool and would love to stay longer.’
Reina has also backed Rafa to bring a lot more success to the Red’s.
‘For me, Benitez does not need money to make a champion team,’ added Reina.
‘He builds teams without spending a fortune. He did it at Valencia and now he is doing it at Liverpool.
‘It was a big shock to everyone in Spain when Valencia won the title, because they did not have as much money as Barcelona and Real Madrid.
‘He took a normal team and made it into the best in the country. There is a lot of belief at Liverpool that he can do the same again.
‘The advantage we have is Rafa Benitez. He’s one of the best managers in football.
‘Winning the FA Cup was a good achievement, but this time we have to win the most important titles – the Premiership or the Champions League.
‘It was impossible to compete with Chelsea last season because they had almost two teams. But we closed the gap last season and this time we believe it is possible to catch them and beat them. ‘
