According to a report from La Gazetta dello Sport via Sports Mole, AS Roma are trying to capture unsettled Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren for a cut price €5 million (£4.4 million) summer deal – prompting plenty of reactions from Reds supporters on Twitter.
Lovren, who has been consistently linked with a move away from Anfield as he approaches the final year of his current contract, is at the centre of Roma’s interest as they search for a potential Chris Smalling replacement – especially given it is unlikely the Man United defender will remain at the Stadio Olimpico.
Would you sell Lovren for £4.4 million?
Do it, just get rid
No, far too cheap
The Croatian international has started just nine Premier League games for Liverpool this campaign, failing to work his way into the side thanks in part to the form of Joel Matip and Joe Gomez – who are both seemingly preferred as Virgil van Dijk’s rotating centre-back partners.
Flocking to social media, many Liverpool fans had their say over Lovren’s future down below.
