February may be one of the shortest months of the Premier League season, with only three matchdays played, but there is still the all important vote and Liverpool have two for the price of one.
Both Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino are amongst the Premier League nominees for the PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans’ Player of the Month award for February.
Bit of a shame we have two players in the running really, it will split our votes. Best thing to do, share away this article and get the Red Army voting.
Quite right, Mohamed Salah has held down a monthly spot on the shortlist for practically the entire season. Egypt international’s impact at Anfield since joining Liverpool from Roma has been massive. In another fine month for the one-time Chelsea youngster, Salah was involved in the most goals of any Premier League player throughout February with four goals and two assists. Unquestionably enjoying amongst the best form of any player in Europe this term, the 25-year-old has already established himself as one of the Premier League’s flagship talents.
February was also a decent month for Roberto Firmino. He scored twice while laying on assist in our three matches. The Brazilian’s ability to mix that attacking flair with industriousness is what stands out most. Firmino also made an impressive ten tackles during Feb.
