Lots of Liverpool fans have been criticising Chelsea manager Frank Lampard for his post-match comments after the Reds’ 5-3 victory against his side on Wednesday.

Mass celebrations and a carnival atmosphere followed after Jurgen Klopp’s side lifted their first Premier League title after 30 years.

Lampard took exception in the manner that Liverpool were awarded the free-kick that Trent Alexander-Arnold smashed past Kepa Arrizabalaga in the first-half.

He told Sky Sports that he was unhappy from the ‘arrogance’ coming from Jurgen Klopp’s backroom staff but insisted that the Reds deserved their title.

Unsurprisingly, supporters were not impressed with Lampard’s comments and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that “utter bitterness” is wreaking out of him, while others told him to “dry his eyes” and called him a “hypocrite”.
