Lots of Liverpool fans have been pleading that the club retains the services of academy graduate Harry Wilson.

The Welshman is currently on loan at Bournemouth after moving to the South Coast side last summer and has had some success on the pitch for the Cherries, with boss Eddie Howe describing him as “hugely impressive“.

Does Harry Wilson have a future at Liverpool?

No

No

Wilson has scored seven goals from 19 starts in what is his third loan spell and his first in the Premier League. He had the most success with Derby having scored 16 times in 43 appearances, while he found the net seven times from 11 starts for Hull during the 2017/18 campaign.

It is this level of consistency and maturity that he has shown over the past three seasons that have pleased the Kop faithful, and is deadly on set pieces as we saw against Manchester City earlier in the campaign.

With this in mind, supporters were keen to see him retained by Klopp and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan says that “we need him badly”, while another described him as “class”.
