Responding to photos on Twitter relayed by social media account LFC Photo, many Reds supporters have flocked to gush over the first team returning to training over two months after the UK announced a nationwide lock down. 

The likes of Alisson, Jordan Henderson and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain were pictured arriving at Melwood to commence Liverpool’s first training session since the global pandemic halted this Premier League campaign.

Since the government eased the nationwide lock down, football teams throughout the country have returned to first team training in order to eventually resume the league season and other domestic competitions when scheduled.

The Bundesliga commenced it’s return to footballing action last weekend, being the first top flight division in Europe to do so, and now English teams look set to follow suit.
