Speaking to the Blood Red podcast, Liverpool Echo journalist Ian Doyle shared his thoughts on loanee youngster Harry Wilson, claiming he is unlikely to ever play for the club again – prompting many Reds supporters to give their opinions on the £15.75 million-valued ‘talent‘.

Wilson, who has spent the 2019/2020 season on loan at Bournemouth, scoring seven goals in 19 Premier League starts over that time, recently extended his spell to serve the remainder of this campaign on the south coast.

The Welshman served a season-long spell at Derby County in the Championship last season, starting an impressive 40 games under then-manager Frank Lampard as the Rams chased promotion.

His 16 goals and four assists in that time were arguably a huge boost to the side, with Derby only narrowly missing out on a top flight climb as they limped to Play-Off final defeat at Wembley.

However, while Wilson has accumulated a set of noteworthy spells away, journalist Doyle thinks this won’t be enough for him to eventually play for Liverpool.
