Speculation has been rife for weeks that Wales international Neco Williams has his heart set on leaving Liverpool after the club stated they were open to offers for the 21-year-old.
Now according to Football Insider, Williams has agreed to a lucrative long-term deal in principle with newly-promoted Premier League team Nottingham Forest.
Liverpool recently rejected a bid from Nottingham Forest for Williams but the report suggests the club have come back with a new and improved offer, one which the Reds look set to accept.
Williams is a fine talent and it’s a shame that he hasn’t been able to make a push into Jurgen Klopp’s starting XI, nevertheless, he makes a solid signing for Forest who will need him to be at his best to compete in the Englands top tier.

Williams spent the second half of last season on loan at London side Fulham, where he helped the club to a Championship title and promotion to the Premier League.
Ultimately it was Liverpool’s acquisition of Aberdeen right-back Calvin Ramsay that has budged Williams out of contention in the squad.
Nottingham Forest will now wait for confirmation of a Liverpool acceptance of their new and improved offer, but the Welshman looks all but set to leave Merseyside this week.
