Liverpool’s Scott Carson and Paul Anderson have signed contract extensions.
Carson, England’s third choice keeper at the World Cup, has signed a two year contract extension that will keep him at Anfield until 2011.
The 20yr old performed well in a loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday last season and is likely to be Pepe Reina’s understudy this season.
Anderson who joined Liverpool from Hull last January, was part of Liverpool’s FA Youth Cup-winning side last season, has extended his contract by three years – taking him to 2010.
The 18yr old has made appearances in both of Liverpool’s first-team friendlies this season and scored an impressive goal against Wrexham earlier this month.
