Jude Bellingham ‘hesitant’ over Liverpool move

|

Borussia Dortmund midfielder, Jude Bellingham, has become ‘hesitant’ over a potential move to Liverpool over recent weeks due to the poor performances of the team.

This is according to @DaveOCKOP, who revealed the comments made by Patrick Berger on the meinsportpodcast over recent days.

Berger claims that Liverpool are ‘in pole position’ to sign the 19-year-old, but he is hesitating due to the club’s current situation, which sees them sat in 10th place in the Premier League with just one win in their last seven games.

He also claimed that if Liverpool were in and around the top four spots, then Bellingham’s decision might have already been made and a deal could’ve been made between the two clubs.

Bellingham has become Liverpool’s priority transfer target, as they continue to struggle in the middle of the field.

The likes of Thiago Alcantara, Jordan Henderson, Fabinho and James Milner are all beginning to age and lose their legs in comparison to recent years and Bellingham could completely reinvent Jurgen Klopp’s system.

A deal between the two clubs is expected to cost the Reds around £100-£120million, with the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain all linked with a move for the Dortmund star.

However, reports emerged yesterday that the teenager has turned down any chance of moving to either Chelsea or Paris Saint-Germain.
