Will Klopp make changes in the game against Napoli?

|
After a devastating loss to Leeds UnitedLiverpool and Jurgen Klopp shift focus onto a crunch UEFA Champions League game against Napoli on Tuesday night. A 4-0 win at Anfield will see Liverpool end the group stage at the top of the table.
Given the recent form of Liverpool, a 4-0 win is surely a tall order. However, we are unsure what kind of Liverpool will show up. The one that beat Manchester City or the one that ended up losing to two relegation-threatened sides in the Premier League.
Both Liverpool and Napoli have already qualified for the round of 16. At some level, many will believe that this is a dead rubber game. But given the consistency with which Liverpool is playing, or rather the lack of it, a win in this game will do Liverpool a world of good when it comes to their confidence.
We will have to wait and watch what Klopp does with his starting lineup for this game. After the loss to Leeds United, he said, “There is no excuse for it or whatever but we have the problem from the first day with injuries or half-fit players who are not injured. So that’s what we carry with us at the moment and that’s why some players play too often and other players have to play too early.

“That’s the situation and the next game is already waiting, and now you might say Naples, it’s a home game, we are already through in the group. I would say it’s Liverpool against Napoli and we should put in a proper performance. At least we need again 11 starters and then a few days later we play away at Tottenham, so that’s our situation. It’s not now for the main overhaul and all these kinds of things – no, you have to fight through and you have to fight for momentum, for confidence, for security.”

We might see Klopp make a few changes which could include giving Fabhino a rest. In addition to that, we can expect him to make three or four changes given the importance of the clash against Spurs. However, that being said, a win in this game will do wonders for the confidence of the Liverpool players before a key Premier League clash against Tottenham over the weekend.
