Liverpool legend, Fernando Torres, has went viral after taking part in a ‘This or That’ trent on the Official Champions League TikTok account.

The former Reds striker was faced with a number of footballing questions, with some involving Liverpool and another one of his former clubs, Chelsea.

Torres first of all chose Anfield over Stamford Bridge before also backing Steven Gerrard over Frank Lampard and Rafael Benitez over Jose Mourinho, which might have a few Chelsea fans a bit wound up.

The Spaniard also chose Lionel Messi over Cristiano Ronaldo, Erling Haaland over Kylian Mbappe and Luis Suarez over Robert Lewandowski.

Here is the video in full:

Torres was one of the best forwards in the world during his time at Liverpool, between 2007 and 2011, scoring 65 league goals in 102 games.

However, the striker made a controversial switch to Chelsea in 2011 for a fee of around £50million and never really hit that level of performance again.

Torres played with both Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard, so to choose the Liverpool legend really speaks volumes about just how good he was in his prime.

Despite the controversy surrounding his decision to sign for Chelsea, Torres remains a club legend and has recently been painted as part of an artwork near Anfield Road with the club’s greatest ever goalscorers on.
