Liverpool host Leeds United tonight with both sides under immense pressure to get three points after patchy form in the Premier League. Here is how we think Jurgen Klopp will set his side up at Anfield:
Goalkeeper- Alisson
Alisson will keep his place between the sticks after another clean sheet against Ajax during the week, making it four in October alone.
Defence- Trent, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson
As Ibou Konate continues his recovery from injury, Virgil Van Dijk and Joe Gomez will continue their partnership at the heart of the defence. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson will continue at full-backs with the Scotsman in fine form since returning from his injury.
Midfield- Fabinho, Thiago
Jordan Henderson is a doubt for this game after picking up a knock against Ajax, meaning Fabinho will continue in midfield despite his poor recent form. Thiago Alcantara should be fit to start after recovering from an ear infection which saw him miss the games against Nottingham Forest and Ajax.
Forward- Elliott, Salah, Nunez, Firmino
The same front four that started against Ajax should continue with all four in good form at the minute. The change in formation has definitely benefitted Harvey Elliott and Mohamed Salah and also provides more support up top for Darwin Nunez to work off, resulting in the Uruguayan scoring in four consecutive appearances.
